FAQ
Answers to frequently asked questions about I-Navyx ONE
1. Rescue parachute
+
The parachute is deployed manually by the pilot at any moment of flight; automatic deployment is not provided, as the decision to deploy remains with the pilot. Guaranteed canopy opening is ensured from a height of 20 m above the surface. At lower altitudes, safety is provided by powertrain redundancy: the aircraft remains controllable with one motor failure.
2. Automatic landing on critical battery
+
When a critical charge threshold is reached, the aircraft performs an automatic vertical landing at the current coordinates; no landing site selection is performed. Therefore, the system warns the pilot in advance: at 20% remaining, a warning is issued to complete the flight; at 10%, forced landing is activated. Thresholds can be changed in the settings, but we recommend the specified values to prevent battery degradation.
Flights over forest, water, and built-up areas are not recommended. The route should be planned so that a suitable landing site is within reach throughout the entire route.

3. Battery system
+
Li-ion battery 28S2P, nominal voltage 100.8 V (maximum 117.6 V), energy about 6 kWh per system, weight 12.5 kg. Field replacement is allowed and takes about 2 minutes, performed only with the aircraft powered off; hot swap is not provided by design. The number of battery packs for rotation is unlimited. Charging time for one pack is 1.5 hours with active cooling.
Battery operating temperature is from +15 to +50 °C; in cold weather the battery is preheated before flight.

4. Service maintenance
+
Scheduled maintenance is condition-based, the main scope is battery diagnostics; cost 0 RUB.
Parachute repacking is performed every 36 months, cost 10,000 RUB (excluding delivery).
After deployment, the ejection pneumatic system is replaced and the aircraft is diagnosed: cost 19,000 RUB, lead time up to 10 business days.
